Took my 90 yr old mother to St John's er last night with back pain...the staff that took care of her including Christina, Garrett & Tom (pa-c) & other's (whose name I didn't get)went above & beyond to understand her pain & to relieve it. Thank you so much. I was glad that I was able to take her home.

Went to the ER in 2016 (60 year old female) with chest pains. I didn’t even get a chance to sit down, they took me immediately into a room where I saw the ER doctor, medication was administered and tests were run. Staff were efficient and professional. The reason I gave 4 stars was because after my chest pains were gone I was left in the room for a few hours without anyone checking on me waiting for the rest of the test results which came up all negative. I was then referred to a cardiologist for a follow up exam.

I’m not sure why all the low ratings but I think people don’t understand the circumstances of visiting an ER. People are so unforgiving and expect so much. You are in an emergency clinic, expect a WAIT. Everyday is different. I went in for a need of a rabies shot due to getting bitten by an unknown cat. They all were fantastic. From the lady at the reception to the triage nurses to the doctors. Extremely friendly and accommodating. My longest wait was in my room waiting for the doctor which was expected in an ER and my issue was not urgent. I got in and out in less than an hour and I came in on a late Wednesday afternoon. I would recommend.

My elderly father was taken to the ER for a fall and possible infection. We were in the ER for some time, but it was Sunday and it IS the way ER's usually are. After he was admitted he was put on the 2nd floor and from then on his care was exceptional. Everyone from the CNAs, Dr..'s, nurses, social workers, etc was so kind to him and treated him with such respect. Always had my questions answered. We were extremely happy with his excellent care.

My mom had a GI endescopy. The nurses and doctor couldn't have been more attentive. The doctor moved up her appointment by 2 months because we thought it was more urgent...and the nurses were so kind and compassionite!!!! One nurse even helped transfer her into the car.....which really wasn't his job.....First class all the way.... would go there again...check in was a breeze and she was super friendly too

Above & Beyond is what your hospital should be called. Full of compassion, accuracy, and always kept us informed and up to date with what was going on. We came in after a trauma so keeping us calm was something they excelled at. From the front desk to the anesthesiologist, to the Discharging nurse we could have not had a better team treating my husband. Thank you!!! You have no idea how much you changed our lives by doing your job and doing your jobs well with a smile!

Nurses were very good, special care nursery planned ahead, set up all equipment they may possibly need, and attended birth of our premature grandson also. Nurse Midwife took excellent care of our daughter and son in law. Very positive, professional experience.

Went in for a c section and was deathly afraid for the spinal part of the situation. Everything went better than expected. Don Anderson, the anesthesiologist, did a superb job, I did not even feel it and he was very personable with me while he waited for the drug to kick in completely. He didn't even know me and he cared about how I felt and asked me questions about my life. Dr Knoedler was also very good, she is humorous and makes light of scary situations which eases the nerves. The nurses were all fantastic and were consistent with checking on me and my new baby. The food delivery service was awesome and the order takers were pleasant to talk to, they new my name when I'd call to order food. The food was really good too and the ladies made good suggestions. The cleaning staff was consistent in coming in on a daily basis to mop floors, take trash and linens. All together a wonderful experience. Thank you St. John's Hospital, will be back with my next child. This is my life and I appreciate the care given. 😭

Great staff, attention to detail and friendly. Not many hospitals can make a stay anything more than tolerable. St John's went well above that!

Took our son in a few months back for respiratory issues and had a good experience. We ran in with our son, everyone jumped into action and we were in a room in less than 10 mins. I was impressed with our doctor and how things were handled. Thank you!

I had the Devinci sugery which went extremely well w/ Dr. English...he is the best! All the medical people in surgery, recovery and then in my room were all very good to me and cared for my every need. Everyone getting admitted is required to wait in the coffee shop (talk about torture...no eat or drink and they put me in this wonderful coffee shop!) listening to everyones admitting dialogue. As a patient you are on their schedule 6 AM starts the rounds of removing tubes and caths....not a min. before. The food was good. My room was clean, nice and private w/ the bed being alittle too worn. Lots of activity and loud voices all night long up and down the halls.
